The marking content and meaning

The marking on the wheel body contains the following information:

 – logo PrJSC “POLTAVA DIAMOND TOOLS”;

 – max rotation speed in m/s and 1/min (for example for the wheel Ø125mm 35 m/s or 5350 1/min);

– wheel shape and standard size in accordance with FEPA marking;

– technical characteristics:

           *for “PREMIUM” – grit size, rotation while operating (for metal bonded wheels), identification color (burgundy-CBN, orange – synthetic diamond)

            *for “STANDARD” – powder type, grit sizes, concentration, bond, rotation (for metal bonded wheels);

– sign EN 13236 (the safety sign);

– serial wheel number according to the numbering system of manufacturer. The number allows to provide traceability and identification of the wheel, and year of manufacturing.
